About Wirtgen Training Schools
Make plans now to attend one of the Wirtgen America Inc. Technical Service Schools. Most are offered at no charge for qualified attendees. By fully training your service technicians, you can optimize machine uptime and availability, better please your customers, and enhance your bottom line. That is the reason that we invite you to send your service technicians to our annual training classes for Wirtgen’s milling and recycling equipment.
Classes are held in our modern multimedia training facility at our North American headquarters in Nashville, TN. There is no registration fee for our Nashville-based schools. We arrange highly favorable lodging rates for attendees at a nearby hotel. On class days, we provide lunch and transportation to and from the hotel. Registrants are responsible for transportation to and from Nashville, lodging, and other meals.
We have again revised our training programs to provide more complete product coverage through more classroom and shop time. For milling machines and basic recyclers, we now offer three classes; The first is a four-day electrical class that covers all models of milling machines and basic recyclers. The second is a four-day hydraulics class that covers all models of milling machines and basic recyclers. Because these two classes cover all Wirtgen models, you can schedule your personnel into any of these classes without regard to a particular machine model. This effectively increases the number of available classes for your personnel. You may choose either the electrical class, the hydraulics class, or both.
The third class, Preventive Maintenance and Grade Control, is a two-day, class designed for those who setup and operate grade control and for those who perform routine maintenance on any Wirtgen milling machine or recycler. Because it does not involve in-depth repairs, it is best suited for operators and groundmen.
New for this year a fourth class, Recycler Foam Systems, has been added that covers foam injection equipment for all Wirtgen model recyclers. This is a two-day school.
Like previous years, Wirtgen is again offering a class in foam technology. This class is suited to those persons involved in the management or supervision of foam recycling projects. This class addresses the technical issues of foam and its application. It does not address the maintenance and repair of machinery.
