Recycler Foam Systems Technical Service School

Who should attend:
The Recycler Foam Systems Technical Service School is intended for those persons dealing with in-depth technical aspects of maintenance and repair of foam injection systems on any model Wirtgen recycler. Those who attend this school should have prior experience in performing general mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs. No prior knowledge of Wirtgen equipment is required.

Overview:
Emphasis will be placed on understanding and troubleshooting electrical control systems used with emulsion and foam attachments used on all models of Wirtgen recyclers. The class will be a lecture with some shop exercises.

The techniques of recycler operation will not be covered in this class.

Objectives: 2-day course

  • Provide students with a basic understanding of reading, tracing, and utilizing Wirtgen schematics for more effective troubleshooting of hydraulic and electrical problems
  • Acquaint students with Wirtgen’s implementation of computer control systems
  • Provide students with the skills necessary to troubleshoot and resolve problems with foam injection systems
