Dealer Application Training School - Vision Pavers
Who should attend:
The Dealer Application Training is intended for dealer technicians and will provide paving operation skills required to trouble shoot and adjust paver and screed systems.
Dealer technicians attending the school must have basic mechanic skills such as electrical, hydraulic and mechanical system knowledge.
Paver technology and application skills are not necessarily required.
Overview:
This course will cover the fundamentals of setting up and executing work at a paving job site. Emphasis will be placed on the understanding of paver systems and how these systems are working in conjunction with the paving process.
The school will provide thorough familiarization of the operation as well as the unique and superior features of the Vision series pavers and screeds including Niveltronic automatic grade and slope systems.
The class will be a lecture with some shop exercises and practical paving.*
Objectives: 2-day course
- Provide students with the knowledge for operating a paver including proper preparation of job sites
- Acquaint students with Vögele’s Ergo Plus operating system
- Provide students with an in-depth understanding of the Niveltronic grade and slope control system operation
- Train students on asphalt mat troubleshooting
- Provide information and hands-on paver and screed set-up including practical paving*
