The Wirtgen 2200 SM is the “all-rounder” for soft and medium hard rock.The cut material is either loaded to the front via a large conveyor system consisting of primary and discharge conveyor or is windrowed behind the machine. With an operating weight of almost 53 short tons, the Surface Miner 2200 SM can achieve a cutting depth of 11 inches over a total width of 7.2 feet in soft to medium hard rock.
