The Wirtgen America, Inc. APTS (Advanced Pavement Technologies Solutions) group is a resource center for consulting, training, and expert problem solving on the use of stabilization, milling, paving and compaction equipment for internal and external customers. Internal customers include dealers and the Wirtgen America, Inc. sales organization. External customers include contractors; federal, local and state agencies; industry associations; and geotechnical firms.

The goals and objectivesof APTS include the following:

• Create consulting and training tools (utilizing both internal and external resources)
• Identify target audiences according to their discipline:
  • Associations
  • Government agencies
  • States (especially Lead States)
  • Contractors
  • Internal customers, including Wirtgen Group sales and the channel of distribution (dealers) by product category
• Promote Wirtgen Group products, technologies, and value-added proposition to establish credibility for the resource
